Obama Fatal Israeli / Palestinian Policy

It is important to keep things in perspectives. It is true that President Barrack Obama and his administration have been doing many good things for Israel, but things are more than just meet the eye. US funded the Iron Dome which defended Israel's capital against rockets from Gaza, but so far, Israel cannot just defend itself, it has to struck back.

Why Obama is not a Israeli Fan

It doesn't take a scientist to understand Obama's views on Israel. He is a graduate of a school of thought which holds Israel responsible for the atrocities of the Middle East. He believes that Israel is occupying Palestinian lands, and he demonstrated that when he called for the return of Israel to the pre-1967 border lines, which would shrink Israel significantly and further weakened its security. This speech essentially put President Obama on the side of Palestinians and in many ways emboldened these fighters who believed the same ways as Obama.
But after three wars against this tiny state, Israel cannot go back to its pre-1967 border because it needs  buffer zone against hostile neighbors. The United Nations back then agreed that Israel couldn't survive any further future attack if it retreats to the border lines prior to the six day way. The current lines were agreed on in the past to keep Israel safe and protected.
Since becoming the leader of the most powerful nation in the world, Obama doesn't seem to care about Israeli's safety and well being. He never condemned any of the attacks on Israel cities from rockets fired from Gaza. He argued that Israeli has all the rights in the world to defend itself, but then it doesn't say that the attack on Israels should stop. He essentially used the Secretary of State - Hillary Clinton - as his mouthpiece in negotiations between Israel and Hamas. He also snubbed Prime Minister Benjamin Natanyahu on multiple occasions and simply telling the leader of Israel, he is not interested in his politics, and giving Israeli enemies more reasons to attack Israel.
In an off-the-mic recording in France, the former President of France, Nicolas Sarkozy, and President Obama made damning remarks about the Prime Minister of Israel; kind of painting him as a liar and a stubborn person. One that demonstrated just how bitter both leaders are toward the leader of Israel.

Why Supporting Israel?

The US support for Israel is nothing more than a superficial effort to show Israel's supporters in USA - the Jews who funded his campaign - that he is looking out for Israel, at the same time keeping Israel from reacting aggressively toward its enemies. But the fact of that matter is, the leader of United States is not doing anything effectively to stop those attack on Israel. Giving Israel missile defense system without pressuring the Israeli enemies is like Judas kissing Jesus knowing he would be crucified in the end. In this case, Israel is told not to attack Iran nor going into Gaza in exchange for a missile defense system. The US government expects Israel to merely reading its missile defense system for in coming deadly missiles.
In the recently rocket fight against Israel, Hamas knew that firing multiple rockets into Israel would overwhelm the Iron Dome defense shield and off course they did. Fortunately some missiles landed only in fields and empty buildings. This tactic is not only ineffective, it is the ultimate suicide of Israel. The Iron Dome can only keep Israel safe for only a short time.

Flawed ideology
This is the president who said that he would sit down with the leaders of North Korea and Iran for peaceful talks without preexisting conditions, which means he doesn't see these countries as extremely bad. As we've seen, this ideology is not working because each nations - sworn enemies of Israel and USA - do have their own agenda.
Iran has not stopped its nuclear program, and just recently North Korea fired a long range missile, all in defiance of the International community. The significant weaknesses in US foreign policy under president Obama is apparently dangerous for the world. The rogue nations becoming emboldened is a huge threat to the world and to the Israel in particular and US' interest around the world.
Palestinian, for instance, refused to become a country yet, because of hatred of Israel, many countries voted to support it. Had US warned of severe economic sanctions for countries supporting such illegal move, this Palestinian vote would not have been passed. Fortunately for the Palestinians, Obama in his heart believes that US shouldn't do a thing to hinder this vote. The US ambassador to the UN didn't do anything to stop this vote. In the long run, the Palestinians will thank President Obama for allowing the vote to go through despite of the legal ramifications.
