Tegano is one of the most beautiful places on earth and it happens to be a World Heritage site since the 1990s. But this beautiful pristine waters - home to many beautiful species of birds and plants, and fishes - is under serious threats from Asian logging companies who are operating in the surrounding areas. Renbel MP should table a parliamentary bill that will ban logging operations inside protected sites such as Tegano and criminalize land-owners who are willing to sell their beautiful environment for a few bucks to unscrupulous Asian loggers who don't give a damn about the environment. At this moment, landowners have the right to destroy their own lands including Tegano lake without any legal repercussions.
