Solomon Islands: Integrity law like the PNG's?

Is this a joke? the Solomon Islands government wanted a law that would model SI after PNG? This must be a joke, considering the corruption in PNG government. Their dirty deals with the former Sogavare government and the grueling legal battle that followed, and the Sogavare's abuse of the executive branch when he attempted to quash the legal case against him.
Where is the accountability here? Wheres the integrity of the PNG leaders that SI admires? PNG has the highest crime rate in the world and most of their leaders do have criminal gangs supporting them. When former Prime Minister Bill Skate came bought a helicopter for K5,000,000 or so, the MPs back then were making jokes about him such as "he bought a helicopter to hunt his own men down!"
Former PM Skate was linked to gangs inside Kaugere area where he used to be a poor resident before becoming a MP representing these poor people, and rumours pointed to his connection with these gangs and how that influenced his political success.
How about Somare? a political analyst in PNG once said that Sogavare had been an MP for four decades and now his children followed his footsteps, but he never developed his own province. Despite the fact that Sogavare's face is on the PNG Kina notes, he shows no progress for his country, economically and in terms law and order.
The bottomline is that Solomon Islands had the biggest scandal in its history and no one have been accountable for all these mess. Sogavare and Somare have yet to face criminal charges for the crimes they both conspired to commit back then.
Somare and his cohorts in the government have covered up their parts in this mess, and until these leaders accountable for this corruption, I don't think PNG politics is something that SI should copy!
